Isn't she lovely!

My friend Lyric, who I absolutely adore, has a daughter who is a senior in high school this year. It is such an exciting time for them.. I've been trying to think about how long I've known Lyric and her family, I have to say about 13 years. Her daughter Khristian has grown up to be this beautiful, smart and talented young lady. We went to the Mesa Art Center to take her senior portraits and some family pictures. Again, I love this area for pictures, all the different colors and of course the pink chair. Khristian you are stunning, I wish you lots of luck in the years to come, you will do great... Don't you think in this first shot she looks a little like Carrie Underwood?

Amazing senior portraits! They are great.
Wish there were some with shoes, though.
Bare feet shots are cute, but some with shoes
would have been a nice mix.

I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby.
