My lovely friend Ana needed someone to fill in for her recently on a maternity shoot, for she is swamped. These are some of my favorites. It was a nice change for me.

I had been looking forward to doing Chris and Christina's engagement pictures, for I knew it would be a fun shoot. When they showed up I was so happy, they looked like they just stepped out of a J. Crew catalog. Now anyone who knows me knows that I love to look at J. Crew for ideas, plus I love the cloths. OK back to Chris and Christina! They are so adorable and just look at how breathtaking Christina is! They will be getting married on March 13 of this year. But get this we are meeting about a week before the wedding to take all the wedding formals. Anywhere we want to go. How exciting. I know. So this first shot is a pose idea from the J. Crew. ;-) While looking around for a place to take pictures I found a pile of leaves. What a great place for pictures. This next image has a filter on it called "Vintage 1973" Not sure why that year? Do you like? This black and white has a eairy feeling to it, don't you think? Now this is fun stuff. Can't wait for the wedding.

I have so many pictures I want to post such as maternity, family and engagement sessions. It has been so busy! Finally I have images from Brian and Tara's New Years Eve wedding bash! It was a great wedding. The wedding was held at the Scottsdale Hilton , a beautiful resort and spa for a wedding. How exciting for Brian and Tara to bring in the New Year as husband and wife. To make it even better all my favorite people were working the wedding with me. Mike Kennedy performed the ceremony flawlessly! Brian and Tara had a smaller intimate group, but that did not slow down the fun at the reception. Juan with AZ Celebrity DJ had them dancing until the clock struck 12:00 am... Look at how proud Brian looks to be Tara's husband. I really like this one! It is MIDNIGHT! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I wish Brian and Tara many more New Year anniversary'...

So it is now officially the year 2010! I am a few days late on this post for it has been crazy around here. My beautiful sister and her wonderful children were visiting my family for the past week from California. We had a great time. I wanted to make a post of thanks on my blog. I feel so very fortunate to have such a meaningful job. Couples, family's and friends allow me to be a part of their magical moments time and time again. Weddings, family pictures, maternity, new Born's, etc.... I am so blessed. I make a living with my camera doing what I love, making time stand still. Do you know how many times I hear from someone "I wanted to be a photographer". It is possible you know, to make it your job. I did! I am looking forward to the year ahead and want to say THANK YOU to all my past bride's and groom's and family's and I look forward to all my new couples that I will have the pleasure to work with. I understand how lucky I am to be spending such joyou...

Brian and Tara are getting married on December 31, 2009, New Years Eve. The wedding will held at the Scottsdale Hilton, a great venue for a wedding. We did their engagement pictures just little over a week ago. Everyone is so busy this time of year, I am just happy we got them done in time for the wedding. I am looking forward to bringing in the New Year with Brian and Tara, along with my favorite DJ's AZ Celebrity DJ!
