Jessica Claire Workshop Feb 2010
This past Tuesday the 23rd I went to Jessica Claire's workshop in Orange County California. Jessica is a brilliant photographer and one of my favorites. I want to say thank you to Jessica for offering such a great workshop and to all that were involved in making everything so perfect.
Workshop: Jessica Claire, http://www.jessicaclaire.net/
Stylist: Duet Weddings, http://www.duet-weddings.com/
Flowers: Kate Holt of Flowerwild http://flowerwild.com/
Models: Braedon & Lindsay Flynn, http://www.braedonsblog.com/
Cake: Erica O'brien, http://www.ericaobrien.com/
Linen & pillows: La Tavolahttp://www.latavolalinen.com/
Rentals: Classic Party Rentals (flatware and cake table)http://classicpartyrentals.com/
Rentals: Badia Design (Spanish door, iron screen, Moroccan poufs)http://badiadesign.com/index.jsp
Plates/glassware: Anthropologiehttp://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/index.jspInvitation: CEVDhttp://cevd.com/
One of the first things we did in the workshop was introduce ourselves, what we like to photograph and to say something we think is interesting about our self. Well I was the third one to have to talk and I couldn't think of anything very interesting to say. I said "I have three boys, married and love my family". That is all very true but I assume not very interesting to most people. OK I know this blog is about the workshop but I have been thinking about it ever since I returned home. I have thought of some things now that might be of some interest. 1. I shoot archery, I have my own compound bow. 2. I love to scrape book. 3. I am finding that I really enjoy cooking and love to watch Rachel Ray. There!! Back to the workshop. Jessica talked shop for about 3 hours, we had lunch and then she took us out to shoot. Everything was so beautiful, the couple Braedon and Lindsay Flynn were adorable (actually married). I can not express how much fun I had and how much I learned about photography and myself. To top it off at the end of the day she had dinner ready for us. I have posted some pictures from the day, notice all the vibrant colors and all the detail..
