Can I just start with how much I adored photographing Mackenzie and Tito's wedding. What a beautiful, kind, loving, fun etc.... couple. They are so in love and it shows ALL the time. I didn't need to spend much time posing them, it came so naturally. Tito and Mackenzie met through Mackenzie's best friend Caroline and her husband. Tito and Mackenzie met at Caroline and Jesse engagement party. Tito and Mackenzie were interested in each other but didn't get to spend much time together. At Caroline and Jesse wedding everyone threw Tito and Mackenzie together to dance. Tito worked up the courage to ask Mackenzie for her phone number and they hung out while Tito was in town. Tito surprised Mackenzie with a visit to Phoenix a few months later and they have been together ever since.
I would like to share with you what is next for this young couple. They were both accepted to volunteer together at the US branch of Jehovah's Witnesses in NY. It is called Bethel. This is where they print bibles and bible literature for the US. Tito works in the infirmary and has for 6 years. He helps take care of older ones who have volunteered their whole lives and now need help with daily living. Mackenzie does not know yet what her job will be.
This is so impressive to me. Tito and Mackenzie are so young but understand the value of giving and devotion. I am so happy I met this lovely couple and wish them a life time of happiness.
Tito's father performed the ceremony and I wanted to say how beautiful the ceremony was. I loved what he had to say about marriage and how a husband and wife should treat each other. As I was photographing the ceremony I was trying to not get emotional and focus on the job task at hand. I am honored to have been a part of this amazing day.
