~Baby Calvin~

Image
It has been awhile since I have done new born pictures. Last Friday I had the privilege of taking some pictures of my friend Nancy's brand new grandson Calvin. He was born on this past August 9! Nancy is the perfect example of a beaming grandma. We went ahead and took these pictures outside on her back patio so that we would have all natural light. Calvin slept through the entire photo session. What a sweetheart. This one picture of dad holding Calvin ended up being one of my favorites.

Pumpkin Plants Are Still Happy

Image
The pumpkin plants are about 6 weeks old now and seem to be really happy. Not much drama with the pumpkin plants since Brian built Fort Knox around them. We are not sure when to expect an actually pumpkin on the plants? If anyone can give us a hint that would be great. William and I did noticed after the last rain we had (a little over a week ago) the plants really flourished. We will see what happens this weekend, we are suppose to have more rain.

Mike and Tammy Just got Married

Image
Mike and Tammy live in Massachusetts but wanted to get married here in Arizona. They rented out a beautiful house in Scottsdale for the big day. Since they are out of state I did not meet Tammy until the week of the wedding and Mike on the wedding day. I instantly liked them both. What a wonderful couple they are, along with wonderful families. Communicating with Tammy a couple weeks before the wedding she mentioned she was concerned about the heat in AZ, well they couldn't have had a more perfect August wedding. It was only 104! LOL, seriously they got lucky. That was all I could say all day. I really felt lucky to be there with Mike and Tammy and enjoyed working with them and their families, I felt like an old family friend. Mike and Tammy have an amazing life ahead of them, such bright, kind souls. I really like this shot of Tammy and her dad both getting ready. The first meeting between Mike and Tammy, they both look so excited! They were all smiles and tears durin

Pumpkins After 4 Weeks

Image
It has been about 4 weeks since William and I planted the pumpkins and they seem to be doing very well. They survived what ever got into them (dog) about two weeks ago. We water them every evening, not sure if we should give them any kind of plant food or not? If anyone has suggestions we would love to hear them.
