Sanctuary Engagement Shoot With TJ and Michelle

Image
TJ and Michelle will be getting married in May of next year at the Sanctuary. When talking to them about their engagement pictures they said they would like to take them at the place where they will be getting married. What a great idea, the Sanctuary offers so many different ideas for photography. I can only wait for their wedding. Honestly saved some great locations for the actually wedding day. I really enjoy this couple, very straight forward, they know what they want. TJ looks at Michelle with such love in his eyes, anything for her. Can I just say that I am so jealous of Michelle's hair, beautiful! OK I have to share this with you, the Sanctuary is a very NICE resort and spa. It was rather empty in the restaurant when we started, by the time we finished the restaurant was pretty full. Well we had just finished up and were walking through the restaurant to collect our stuff to leave when I trip on the stairs and of course could NOT let my camera hit the ground. Just a little

Love at the Renaissance

I had so much fun taking engagement pictures of Tim and Alison at the Renaissance Festival. Why the Renaissance Festival you ask? Tim and Alison are lovers of fantasy, in books, games or wherever it can be found, the best place to get into this spirit, the Renaissance Festival. One important fact is this is where Tim proposed to the lovely Alison, so why not go back to where it all started. Tim and Alison will be getting married in winter of 2011, wedding date not set in stone yet, they are hoping to say their I do's in Michigan at Castle Farms. I think I am going:-) They want it to be as I quote Alison "Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure" like Wesley and Buttercup from The Princess Bride. Love this couple!

This sweet little package is Cameron, he is just a couple weeks old. Cameron is the son of Tori and Wes and the little brother to Claire. I photographed Tori and Wes's wedding on April 20, 2007. When Cameron was born Tori sent me a text message with a picture of her and her new son saying "Can you do some pictures for me"? I had so much fun seeing Tori and Claire and meeting Cameron. Wes and Tori have such a beautiful family. Of course I can't go see Cameron and not take pictures of Claire, who is now 2 1/2 years old. Isn't she beautiful!! Tori thank you for always inviting me back to take pictures for family!! You went from being my bride to my friend and feel so blessed!!

Love in the Hot Afternoon

Tracy Kreck had asked me to help her with this past wedding from August 28th, and of I course I was honored! She put me in charge of the groom and groomsmen. I had a great time hanging out with the men, they were relaxed and a lot of fun. Brian and Adele were married at the Buttes , a Marriott resort. what a beautiful setting for a wedding. This wedding was all about family, friends and details, unlike any wedding I have been a part of before. Start with the wedding dress, Adele's mom added the black beading to add more detail. She did a amazing job. So the men were having a little bit of fun before the I do's! Who was I to stop them. This is the view from the Buttes, a storm was rolling in. It rained right after we were done taking pictures before the ceremony and had stopped in time to finish up pictures after the ceremony. Details everywhere, from the bridesmaid's shoe's to the groomsmen shoes! The ceremony was very intimate where the
