High School Sweethearts Finally Married

Image
Alex and Sarah fell in love in high school and are finally married at the Anthem Country Club . I want to mention how outstanding the customer service was at Anthem. The staff went above and beyond for Alex and Sarah. Example: Sarah can not wear heals on the golf course so Julie (staff member) would help Sarah wipe the grass off her feet after we were done taking pictures on the course and would help her put her heals back on. Alex, football player, Sarah cheerleader, dated, went to prom, fell in love. The American love story come to life. The emotion on Sarah's face Say's it all. O.K. I might over exaggerate a bit, but I put my life on the line for this next picture. Right now here in Arizona the weather is starting to warm up, you know what that means? Rattlesnakes come out of hibernation. I have seen many around my house and know where and where not to go during this time. Well notice the lovely wild desert surrounding the lake? Rattlesnake heaven. I had to walk in

~Joe, Veronica Keeping Up With Jackson~

Image
When I first met with Joe and Veronica I felt instantly comfortable and was really hoping to get the job of photographing their wedding. Yeah, they hired me. When were first met they had a lot to say about the lil man in their life Jackson and asked if he could be included in their engagement pictures. Of course. We decided to do the engagement pictures at Papago Park. When I arrived Joe and Jackson were fishing! Joe and Veronica were sure easy to photograph, add Jackson we had to keep up. He would give me a few seconds and then he was done, on his way. Nether the less we got some great shots of the three of them and some nice shots of Joe and Veronica. Such a beautiful family... I really enjoyed this photo shoot and can't wait until their wedding next year.

Jackson and Adelynn are Growing Up

Image
I love to photograph children. Just let them go and snap away. For the past few years now I've been donating a photo session to Stepping Stones Preschool for their annual Ice Cream Social fundraiser. Now this will be the second time the Clevenger family will have bid on the gift certificate and won. The last time I had the pleasure of photographing Jackson and Adelynn was in 2008. A little older a little wiser. :-) I had so much fun following them around up at the train park in Anthem. Jackson had made a friend right away on the playground so it was a challenge to get a picture of him alone. How can you not adore miss Adelynn! While sitting on this dinosaur Adelynn kept saying "I hate dinosaur", so cute.

Second Shooter

Image
On May 8th I was a second shooter for the lovely Tracy Kreck. The wedding couple Todd and Amanda, location Valley Ho. I had the best time. Tracy had me go hang with the guys while they were getting ready. Generally I am almost always with the women, so this was new for me. Todd and his groomsmen were so much fun to hang with, such gentlemen. Their mom's would be proud and I'm sure they are. Valley Ho was fabulous as always, the day was perfect. Todd was looking dapper and Amanda stunning and LOVE the shoes. The reception was held up on the roof top with a beautiful sunset. I couldn't decide between the color and black and white, so I posted both. This next shot is my favorite from the day. Thanks Tracy for having me be your second shooter, it was a good day. Todd and Amanda along with their family and friends were all so welcoming!
