Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs and Coffee with Colleen and Adrian

 I truly do have the best job!  I am reminded over and over again by the amazing people I get to meet while photographing them.  For example Colleen and Adrian.  Colleen and Adrian live in Colorado Springs but will be getting married in Phoenix next year.  After several phone conversations with Colleen I could not wait to meet her in person.  After you talk with Colleen on the phone you are just happy.  She is so upbeat and so very kind.  When I did first meet Colleen and Adrian in Colorado Springs for their engagement shoot I was pleased to find that Colleen was just as kind and upbeat in person.  Adrian to was very kind but more quiet.:-)  They balance each other out perfectly.  We started shooting at Garden of the Gods.  Colleen shared an interesting fact with me about Garden of the Gods.  It has more visitors then Central Park.  Wow, that is a lot of people, but does make sense. Garden of the Gods is breathtaking.  I would call it Colorado Springs version of Arizona's Sedona.
After we were done at the Garden's we went over to one of Colleen and Adrian's favorite coffee shops.  Loyal Coffee (now I want coffee).  What a cute little coffee shop.  It is located downtown Colorado Springs if you want to check it out.  I enjoyed photographing them while they just relaxed a bit with some yummy coffee.  Then we walked around downtown Colorado Springs to finish up.  It was a great engagement shoot and I just loved getting to know Colleen and Adrian better.  Honestly I want to work on becoming friends with Colleen. You want her energy in your life.  I am so looking forward to photographing their wedding next year!

Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby. ~George and Catherine~

I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. I was pleased she booked me and looked forward to working with her and meeting George. When I got to Catherine's house she was again very calm and taking her time getting ready. That is when I met George for the first time, he to was very calm taking his time getting ready. The wedding was very simple, two people in love getting married. Once the I do's were said the rest of the afternoon looked like the next few images. Giddy, smile's, more smiles of joy. I loved watching them and would get caught up in the moment. Had to remind myself to take pictures:-) Catherine looked so beautiful, very classy and George so handsome, movie star couple status I would say. Again, more smiles, giggles and glances.
