April has been very busy with not only weddings, but family's, baby's and senior portraits. This is Zack and he is a senior at Mountain Ridge! We met over at Happy Valley and I-17 then finished up at sunset time in the desert. I had fun shooting Zack. Thank you Lyric for the referral, for the most part I am known for only doing weddings.

Aaron and Erika were so much fun to shoot and so last minute. You see as of last week they did not have a photographer for their wedding which is May 9, 2008, yes about a month away. Well one of my favorite DJ's Chad with All American DJ sent them my way. Thanks Chad! When meeting with Erika I made the assumption that they wouldn't want engagement pictures since their wedding is so close, I was wrong. So I looked at my calendar and was able to fit them in on last Friday evening and am I glad I did. We had so much fun! They were so relaxed and sweet. The lighting was perfect. I really didn't have to direct them, so I just took my shoes off and shot away. They are a beautiful couple and I am so excited to be shooting their wedding!

My parents Ed and Barbara Kominsky will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next month on May 24th! Wow, what an inspiration. We are planning to go to San Diego for the weekend to celebrate.

It seems not very many people are responding to the pink very well. I'll keep it for a little while..

Did anyone notice I went pink? No reason, time for a change. Very bright!!

I love the desert during the spring time. Although it does seem to bring out the worst of everyones allergys. I took these pictures from the corner on my street.

Adam and Ashley are getting married at Ashley Manor on May 10, 2008. For their engagement pictures they wanted to go to the Japanese Friendship Gardens in downtown Phoenix. I have lived in Phoenix for sixteen years now and didn't even know there was such a thing. Well it is beautiful there. The Japanese Friendship Garden is located on 3rd ave a top of the I-10 tunnel in downtown Phoenix. It was a great time... Adam and Ashely are such a cute couple, I look forward to shooting their wedding.
