I Love Post Wedding Shoots

When Ricardo and Liz met with me they had mentioned that they would like to do the wedding formals on a chosen day after the wedding, yeah!! I love doing post wedding shoots, they are so much fun. You get to choose a location that fits your personality, time for best light, no pressure of time restrictions and no nerves for you already married! Ricardo and Liz were married on December 5th and we did the post wedding pictures a few days later downtown Phoenix. I think it is safe to say that they enjoyed it as much as I did.
This next image is so simple, but one of my favorites!
This next series of pictures are some of my all time favorites. We were walking to the Science Center and turned the corner and saw all these beautiful trees with leaves of fall! Not a sight often seen in Phoenix.
Then of course all the different downtown shots were so much fun!! So much fun!!I know I say this a lot but Liz and Ricardo are a super sweet couple. On the wedding day Liz was so CALM and put together. It was very simple and intimate. The two took of to New York the morning after their post wedding shoot for their honeymoon. How fun, downtown Phoenix one day New York the next.

Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby. ~George and Catherine~

I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. I was pleased she booked me and looked forward to working with her and meeting George. When I got to Catherine's house she was again very calm and taking her time getting ready. That is when I met George for the first time, he to was very calm taking his time getting ready. The wedding was very simple, two people in love getting married. Once the I do's were said the rest of the afternoon looked like the next few images. Giddy, smile's, more smiles of joy. I loved watching them and would get caught up in the moment.
