Kaitlyn and Korey's Beautiful Prescott Wedding


 
 When Cortney your sons friend from high school, who also shadowed you for a few years with her own camera sends you a text about shooting her sisters wedding which happens to fall on your 17th year wedding anniversary you say yes. I am so glad I did!  What an honor to witness Kaitlyn and Korey take their vows in front of God and everyone.  To watch them promise to love each other and to make a loving family for Korey's son Calvin.  This wedding taking place at Prescott Lakes Country Club over looking a beautiful lake was just a bonus.  While photographing this event I felt like family.  Everyone was so kind and already having a relationship with Cortney made it even more special. Kaitlyn and Korey were so happy to finally be husband and wife!  Almost giddy.  
So side note, not only is May 19th my wedding anniversary and now Kaitlyn and Korey's but Prince Harry and Meghan were also married.  No worries, the royals did not steal any of Kaitlyn and Koreys thunder.  Telling you May 19th is the day!!

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. I was pleased she booked me and looked forward to working with her and meeting George. When I got to Catherine's house she was again very calm and taking her time getting ready. That is when I met George for the first time, he to was very calm taking his time getting ready. The wedding was very simple, two people in love getting married. Once the I do's were said the rest of the afternoon looked like the next few images. Giddy, smile's, more smiles of joy. I loved watching them and would get caught up in the moment.
