Phillip and Laurel

Phillip and Laurel are getting married in Kingman this coming November. We took their engagement pictures at the beginning of the summer. We had fun using this BIG PINK chair as a prop. We started at the chair and ended at the Mesa Art Center. There were great colors and textures to work with. Again another couple that trusted my ideas!! Thank you!! Phillip and Laurel are very cute and loving!! I am looking forward to the wedding!

Shawn and Ingrid hang their hat in Flagstaff and are getting married in Sedona next March. When they hired me to be their wedding photographer they asked if I wouldn't mind doing the engagement pictures in the Flagstaff area? Of course I do not mind! While up north with family I noticed all the fields of wild flowers and checked with Shawn and Ingrid to see if they would like to do the pictures in the fields? Of course they said "yes"... I had so much fun. They brought their daughter Elayna with, she is adorable, notice her having a good time while we were busy taking pictures! After the wild flowers we went to the train tracks. While on the train tracks taking pictures a train started to come our way. Elayna was so cute in letting us know "Train is coming, get off the track!" Thank you so much Shawn and Ingrid for trusting me with my ideas for your engagement pictures! We are going to have a great time in Sedona for you wedding!

The Bug Room!

For his 6th birthday William told his Nana that he wanted a new bedspread, or actually I think he said "new cozy bed", well when everything is said and done William has a new decorated bedroom. Just look at how cute it all came out. Papa and daddy with Williams help painted the room, they added some crown molding along with the new bed and bedspread along with a few other things. Notice the snake on the shelf above the bed, that came with great patients! Papa even hot glued little critters on walls and mirrors, he is so good at decorating, don't you think?

We took a family trip to Hawaii with Brian's parents in early June. I love Hawaii, from the minute you land it is so beautiful and peaceful. Getting to Hawaii this trip was a bit trying. We had a connecting flight that took us to Utah, little did we know that we would be in Utah for almost 24 hours. The flight was delayed and then canceled so after staying in the airport for about 10 hours we were shuttled to the nearest hotel and departed Utah the next morning at 6:00 am. I must say my boys were so good! After about five hours in the Utah airport William said and I quote "All I wanted to do today was go to Maui". Once we got to Hawaii we had a fabulous time along with some adventure. We were lucky enough to stay at the Ritz Carlton in Maui, only left the resort twice, once for snorkeling and once for a quad ride in the "rain forest". Along with a beautiful view the Ritz also had some fantastic food. The boys and I were even able to get Brian to try some sushi! ...
