Michael and Becky and Their Lovely Wedding

 
 Meet Michael and Becky, a very sweet couple that just got married at Ancala Country Club. I would like to take a moment to explain this one part of their wedding.  This was a Jewish wedding ceremony and one part that I found so interesting was during the signing of the Ketubah.  Michael and Becky met up with each other for the first time before the ceremony so they could sign the Ketubah, which is the marriage contract.  During this time they also do the unveiling of the bride. The common explanation for this ritual dates back to the Biblical time of Jacob who intended to marry his cousin Rachel. Laban, his uncle and future father-in-law veiled both Rachel and her sister Leah and switched the two. Jacob did not bother to unveil the bride prior to the wedding ceremony. The next morning he discovered he had married Leah. Jacob had to work for seven extra years in order to marry Rachel. The unveiling of the bride reassures the groom that he is indeed marrying the right bride.  No worries this beautiful bride is the right one for Michael.

Michael and Becky had such a great time on the dance floor with all their family and friends.  Give it up for the fantastic Juan with AZ Celebrity DJ, who once again did a fantastic job keeping the reception going.  Michael and Becky thank you for allowing me to capture this very special wedding for you.

Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby.
