Colorado Maternity With The Price Family

 This is the Price family, Dan, Trisha and Lucas!  I originally met Dan and Trisha when they hired me to photograph their wedding almost 3 years ago.  Since then I've had the pleasure of photographing their first maternity shoot, Lucas as a new born and when Lucas turned one.  Along the way we have become friends, I feel so blessed to know them!  Then one day out of the blue in June they decided to relocate to Colorado.  I was out of town when they left so I did not get the opportunity to say goodbye.  I was very sad over them leaving AZ but very happy for them to be able to go back to CO!

Then on a glorious day in July Dan messaged me to see if I would at all consider flying to CO early September to take maternity pictures of Trisha, baby number two on the way.  My inside voice was screaming "YES", but my fb message voice was yes Dan I would love to come photograph your beautiful wife.  We worked out all the details and kept it a secret from Trisha.  My very dear friends the Olson live in CO and they were willing to pick me up from the airport and let me crash with them.  So really I benefited twice from this gig.  I got to see the Price family and have some quality time with the Olson family.  Dan eventually told Trisha he had lined someone up to take maternity pictures for her but did not tell her who.  One of my most favorite moments in this biz is how happy Trisha was when I showed up at their house to start our shoot.  There were even tears!  It was a wonderful photography experience. Thank you so much Dan for inviting me out to photograph your beautiful wife and son! I hope you enjoy the pictures from CO, a nice change of pace.  OH, I should mention, Trisha & Dan had their baby a week later, another beautiful baby boy.

I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. I was pleased she booked me and looked forward to working with her and meeting George. When I got to Catherine's house she was again very calm and taking her time getting ready. Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby.
