Wow 2010

So it is now officially the year 2010! I am a few days late on this post for it has been crazy around here. My beautiful sister and her wonderful children were visiting my family for the past week from California. We had a great time. I wanted to make a post of thanks on my blog. I feel so very fortunate to have such a meaningful job. Couples, family's and friends allow me to be a part of their magical moments time and time again. Weddings, family pictures, maternity, new Born's, etc.... I am so blessed. I make a living with my camera doing what I love, making time stand still. Do you know how many times I hear from someone "I wanted to be a photographer". It is possible you know, to make it your job. I did! I am looking forward to the year ahead and want to say THANK YOU to all my past bride's and groom's and family's and I look forward to all my new couples that I will have the pleasure to work with. I understand how lucky I am to be spending such joyous occasion's with people and promise to continue to give you all my best!

Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby. ~George and Catherine~

I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. I was pleased she booked me and looked forward to working with her and meeting George. When I got to Catherine's house she was again very calm and taking her time getting ready. That is when I met George for the first time, he to was very calm taking his time getting ready. The wedding was very simple, two people in love getting married. Once the I do's were said the rest of the afternoon looked like the next few images. Giddy, smile's, more smiles of joy. I loved watching them and would get caught up in the moment. Had to remind myself to take pictures:-) Catherine looked so beautiful, very classy and George so handsome, movie star couple status I would say. Again, more smiles, giggles and glances.
