Fun Engagement Shoot in Flagstaff

Jeremy and Vanessa truly met on a blind date! To make it even better it was on Valentines Day! Jeremy's cousin's fiance set them up. This was her first time at match making. When I say truly a blind date, they did not talk, text, email before the date. Jeremy went into it without even knowing how incredible beautiful Vanessa was!! I'd say someone has some good match up skills for Jeremy and Vanessa have been together ever since and will say "I do" on the beach in San Diego in October.
Jeremy and Vanessa wanted to do their engagement pictures up north, hopefully with some wildflowers. Well the only flowers we could find wild or not were at NAU campus. Which was just fine for these two alumni's from NAU!!
When talking about taking pictures in Flagstaff I had a few ideas of my own. My family spends a lot of time up north and I knew of this old abandoned grocery store and suggested we stop there.. Every time I would drive past it I would think that I would love to photograph a couple there.
Since I carpooled with Jeremy and Vanessa for a bit during our photo shoot I was able to witness how very sweet to each other they are. So respectful and kind. I herd Jeremy say to Vanessa "you are so beautiful" aww melt my heart!! I am so looking forward to their wedding!!

BEAUTIFUL!!! Love the abandoned grocery store pictures. Vanessa's outfits are perfect for each location.

Wow, you definitely took advantage of all Flag has to offer! I love the shot of them in front of the wall with the mural. Don't think you did enough outfit changes though-- just kiddin'!

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. I was pleased she booked me and looked forward to working with her and meeting George. When I got to Catherine's house she was again very calm and taking her time getting ready. That is when I met George for the first time, he to was very calm taking his time getting ready. The wedding was very simple, two people in love getting married. Once the I do's were said the rest of the afternoon looked like the next few images. Giddy, smile's, more smiles of joy. I loved watching them and would get caught up in the moment.
