It's the Little Things

 It is the little things that make us smile and warm are hearts such as this little baby girl Scarlett.  I had just done maternity pictures of Scarlett's mommy the first weekend of December.  Scarlett decided to come early!!  When I showed up to take her new born pictures Jessica (Scarlett's mommy) had all sorts of ideas for me.  Jessica had knitted a pink baby hat for Scarlett, I put my order in..













Thank you Jessica and Jeremy for allowing me to photograph your sweet new baby girl.  Taking pictures of new born's is always a favorite for me!

Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby. Is it 5 or 15 Minutes of Fame?

I want to say I am experiencing my 15 minutes of fame, since I had my 5 when I was 12. Stephanie help me out, what was the name of the talk show your mom took us to the tapping of in which I got to ask a question? This took place in 1979, we were in sixth grade. Teen Beat I think? I was selected to ask a question, in which now I can't remember if it was to Lief Garrett and I am thinking the host was Kristy McNichol, aggg... Anyway when the episode aired on TV I was to embarrassed to watch myself. Da I wish I would have!! On to my recent fame, I was asked to shoot the cover of the Arizona Bridal Source Guide this past spring for Kim Horn and it is out and about. This fame will last longer then 5 minutes since it will be available for the next 6 months. I am so very excited and am happy with how it turned out. It was a great and nerve racking experience!
