Dru and Kayle's Wonderful Wedding

 
I was so excited about shooting Dru and Kayle's wedding!  Kayle is my son's fiance's sister!!  This family will be part of my family one day and I can not be more excited about it.  Needless to say I wanted to do a super job for Dru and Kayle, to the point of where I got really nervous, and couldn't sleep.  Well it is not unusual for me to get myself so nervous I feel sick even after 20 something years of shooting.  If you ask me everything turned out perfect!!









 My beautiful friend Heather was the second shooter for this event and did a wonderful job.  Here are a few pictures that Heather took while taking on the men.








Dru and Kayle are true high school sweethearts, they met their senior year at Sandra Day O Connor High.  Kayle was the new girl at the school while Dru was established, well known and loved.  Dru and Kayle met in Marching Band, Dru a drum major, Kayle playing the baritone.  They both attended NAU and are now finally married!

 Tony is Kayle's older brother and was able to make the day even more special by playing his trumpet at the wedding ceremony.

 Dru and Kayle surprised all their guest when they stopped in the middle of their first slow dance and starting doing a little hip hop!
























 
 It was a great wedding!  I feel so blessed to know my son will be apart of this fantastic family.

Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby. Is it 5 or 15 Minutes of Fame?

I want to say I am experiencing my 15 minutes of fame, since I had my 5 when I was 12. Stephanie help me out, what was the name of the talk show your mom took us to the tapping of in which I got to ask a question? This took place in 1979, we were in sixth grade. Teen Beat I think? I was selected to ask a question, in which now I can't remember if it was to Lief Garrett and I am thinking the host was Kristy McNichol, aggg... Anyway when the episode aired on TV I was to embarrassed to watch myself. Da I wish I would have!! On to my recent fame, I was asked to shoot the cover of the Arizona Bridal Source Guide this past spring for Kim Horn and it is out and about. This fame will last longer then 5 minutes since it will be available for the next 6 months. I am so very excited and am happy with how it turned out. It was a great and nerve racking experience!
