Another Fabulous Flagstaff Wedding Featuring Joseph and Shannon

 Love, love, love shooting weddings in Flagstaff!  Back to back weddings in Flagstaff and wonderful.  Shannon and Joseph's wedding was perfect!  When planning a wedding in Flagstaff in the month of February you have to have some concern that it could be snowing, which wouldn't be bad, but...  It was perfect out!!  They were married in a very old Catholic Church downtown Flagstaff then the reception was held at the High Country Conference Center.  Both fabulous locations.  Misti and I had a great time working this wedding, everyone was so friendly.  Everyone had a great time at the reception, a packed dance floor all night.  I would like to share with you how Joe and Shannon met in Shannons words.

Joe and I met at NAU in 2012 (when I was a freshman, he was a sophomore). We actually met playing Quidditch (the sport from Harry Potter haha) at NAU (yes NAU has a Quidditch team :P). Then we bonded more when we realized we both went to the same church and went to sister High Schools down in the valley. We dated for about a year and half and then he proposed in November 2013
They truly are an amazing young couple. Wishing them a lifetime of happiness!!

Ahh Stella

When you get an email from the sister of a past pride asking if you could take pictures of her 6 month old baby girl, you say sure! When she ask you if you can meet at her sister-in-laws house to take the picture because she has a "fun house" you reply yes. Then you show up and see this beautiful baby girl and this incredibly decorated shabby chic house, you burst with excitement inside.. That is just what happened. Elaine emailed me to see if I could take pictures of Stella and asked if we could meet at her sister-in-laws house. Well, you can see for yourself that Stella is beautiful and the house was a photographer's dream. Elaine had all her own idea's for Miss Stella. We had so much fun and Stella was a trooper to say the least. I loved how Stella would smile at her mommy over and over again. She is truly a happy baby. ~George and Catherine~

I met Catherine just about a month before her wedding and truly liked her instantly. When we met she came alone and was so calm about her wedding and what she was looking for. I was pleased she booked me and looked forward to working with her and meeting George. When I got to Catherine's house she was again very calm and taking her time getting ready. That is when I met George for the first time, he to was very calm taking his time getting ready. The wedding was very simple, two people in love getting married. Once the I do's were said the rest of the afternoon looked like the next few images. Giddy, smile's, more smiles of joy. I loved watching them and would get caught up in the moment.
